Remeter: a Small Budgeting Tool
https://Remeter.org: the general idea is to think about money in terms of what comes in and what goes out.

I'd like to announce the first release of Remeter.org. My hope is that it's useful for a few people to get a handle of their finances.
The general idea is to think about money in terms of what comes in and what goes out.
The outgo is more interesting, and that's the differentiator in this tool. It separates out predictable bills from less predictable personal and shared expenses.
It seems simple, but in fact tracking spending is hard. For me, it has been useful to think of spending in these terms.

The general idea is to start by entering all of the known income streams.

Follow that with different types of spending.
Each spend type comes with its own prompt to help you consider what you might be able to track.

Once all of that is entered, you get a net total that will reflect your weekly net change.

It's that simple.
The idea here isn't to do anything crazy or complex. It's one tool to help you consider what you spend your money on.
I hope you enjoy it.
